Motorcycle and car enthusiasts leave the War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihu‘e in a convoy to the Westside during Sunday’s 7th annual Benefit Ride for Special Olympics Kaua‘i. This is the final fundraising event of 2009 for Special Olympics Kaua‘i. The nonprofit’s operation is based solely on contributions raised by fundraisers such as this.
